Mathematics (MM) is an elementary mathematics program for grades 1 to 3 created specifically to address the following educational key recommendations Precise framework of concepts and skills Concepts and skills taught in depth to allow mastery
- Focused, coherent curriculum, without significant repetition year after year
- Equal emphasis on conceptual understanding, fluency, and skills
- Use of concrete and pictorial representations
- Use of a concrete-visual-abstract development of concepts
- Use model drawings to connect visual representation to problem solving
- Emphasis on problem solving considered central to all
This is the workbbok for the math collection for grade 1 which is composed of two volumes and a workbook
